這個不知我們的問題。 bbs.org.hk 的設置，似乎是不理會 -l 的設定，
所以無論您用任何 telnet client，一樣要照打 username: bbs 和
password: hkibbs，除非您自行寫 script...

不知，我的 telnet client 沒有問題。我再改裝普通的 telnet 試試看。
也可以看看 "man telnet"，裏面有詳細的說明。
