"Wheezy" 的新界面

"Joy [1]" 主题被选为 [2]即将发行的 Debian 7.0（Wheezy）系统的默认界面。
这个主题以轻巧和简单的界面设计，使得它更有效率，也更吸引人。desktop-base
软件包还提供了一个更华丽的版本，叫做 "Joy Inksplat" ，是为那些想要
一个更有意思的桌面的人准备的。在 Wheezy 发布后，我们有一些初步的想法，
关于是否要引进多个主题，更细致地调整主题软件包和在它们之间进行选择的元数
据包。

DebCamp 报告
------------
上个星期，DebCamp (Debian 野营活动) 在尼亚加拉的马那瓜中央大学举办。这是
极具生产力的一个星期，我们从人们的报告中可以体会到： Christian Perrier
在他的博客中 [3]描述了他在国际化、本地化和 Samba 打包方面的工作；Joey
Hess 提到了他在git-annex assistant [4] 和Debian CDs [5] 方面的进展；
Gregor Herrmann 写了他与 Debian Perl 团队的工作 [6]; Steve McIntyre 写了
他正在组织的六个议 题的准备工作 [7]；还有 Gunnar Wolf 报告了DebCamp 正
式开始了 [8]。 紧接着 DebCamp 的这个星期，是 DebConf12, 即第12届 Debian
开发者大会，从 Debian主题日 [9]开始。它是一项开放的活动，不管是爱好者、
用户、开发者或者其他任何人，只要有兴趣想要更加了解 Debian 和自由软件就

Stefano Zacchiroli 从 DebConf12 发来了他的 DPL 活动的月度报告 [13]。本
月期间，Debian 加入了FSF 反对 secure boot 的运动 [14]，另外在达成盈利共
享协议之后，DuckDuckGo 发送了第一份捐助报告。 Stefano 还提到了一些关于项
目演进的有意思的讨论，特 别是关于改变 DM 权限的处理方式 [15] 和 改变

Stefano Zacchiroli 在 DebConf12 [17] 大会第一天发表了他最后一次 "来自

Debian Maintainer Dashboard, 新的 UDD 前端

Lucas Nussbaum 在他的博客上宣布 [20]创建 Debian Maintainer
Dashboard [21], 一项依赖UDD 的服务，以发现特定维护者的软件包尽可能多的有
用信息。Debian Maintainer Dashboard 还处于早期阶段，正寻求更多的贡献者。
据有关消息, UDD 已经迁移到 ullman [22]，一台近期由 DSA 配置好的新机器。
