I wouldn't think that will be fair, there are just not so many active big5 users around； but their opinion should be respected non the less.
这不公平，big5编码的使用者虽然比较少，对这些用户有利才好。But I do think merging two low volume mailing list is a good option. Reading another Chinese (yes, I mean people) shall be not a big problem and it's fun to "guess".
