可能fedora的高级版本集成了VMware的功能。但是我还是用的redhat9的系统，系统内的vmware tools不是自带的。在安装完系统启动虚拟机内的gnome桌面后，可以从VMware启动tools的安装，它会将tools软件组安装在/user/bin下， /root目录下有一个vmware的子目录，里面有link到执行程序的，其中有一个vmware-toolbox的可执行软件，你执行它即可
（各个版本的路径可能有不同 我用的是vmware server 1.0 + redhat9）

我突然想起了一件事情,最近我有装过一次fedora8, 我装的目的只是为了锻炼自己能安装各种系统,根本就没有做过认真实际应用,但我惊讶地发现,我将fedora8安装好了后,它就自动具有debian安装完vmware tools的某些功能了,我敢确定的一项就是'我不用CTRL+ALT'来释放鼠标,它自动识别!!!

我想是不是因为redhat已经将vmware tools的功能,至少部分功能加到其fedora里了?

再有, 如何才能调出你附件给出的那个对话框? 我菜,麻烦你;-)
FYI:我用的是debian lenny gnome+vmware6
