insmod出现Segmentation fault

在安装vmware workstation 5.5的过程中，Building the vmmon module不通过。
The screen echos：

sh: line 1:  5595 Segmentation fault      'insmod' -p '/tmp/vmware-config6/vmmon.o' >/dev/null 2>&1

There is probably a slight difference in the kernel configuration between the

感觉是insmod的问题，查找Segmentation fault相关的网页，皆语焉不详，特请教各位。
