用en_US是无所谓,可如果喜欢看中文,还是不爽的。Console下又不装zhcon这种东西,只好是系统C,启动X时设定zh_CN,我原来是放在xinitrc里的,后来改用gdm,就放到.xsession里,后来gdm这家伙不学好,在缺省情况下不读这个文件了(先Defaultsession会读),干脆放到Xsession.d下面去了,输入法也在这里。
gdm自己也要设置语言,这个还没搞清楚它放在哪里。最郁闷的是Gterm只看CTYPE;gVim有时似乎会从上一次的Locale中回不过神来。

只要用 dpkg-reconfigure locales 就可以了。它会修改 /etc/environment.
或者用localeconf也可以。
