Chinese display problem in kde

I am running debian testing, kde version is 3.4.

Under kde, Chinese is displayed properly in gtk2-based applications
like firefox and Epiphany, but the font in QT-based apps, like konqueror
and qterm, is really ugly, and some words are even displayed as dots or
squares. 

Does anyone have a clue on what's wrong? 

The output of fc-list on my machine:
