Re:安装手册的翻译问题
因为 Debian Installer 在 Sarge 发布之后，开发工作仍然继续进行。
相应的，这份手册也会根据安装程序的变化不断更新。
根据你提供的校对，修改后的结果现在只能从 http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/
里面看到。至于 Sarge 的文档，不知道是谁在什么情况下会来更新。
只看到有这样的信息:
The official version of the Installation Guide for Sarge can be found on the Sarge release pages.
This version is updated regularly if changes are made in the Guide that apply to the current official release of the installer.
