gaim.pc的问题。

在编译openq-0.3.2的时候，末尾的一段提示如下：

checking for GNU gettext in libc... yes
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking for gaim... Package gaim was not found in the pkg-config search
path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gaim.pc' to the
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'gaim' found
configure: error: Library requirements (gaim) not met; consider
adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are
in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

问题是不是出在gaim.pc这个文件上面？dpkg -L gaim了一下，没有发现有gaim.pc文件，也没有G到相关答案，希望各位能给予指点。

debian sarge kernel:2.6.8-2-686 gaim:1.2.1，已经安装了openq-0.3.1，都是用deb包安装。
