I don't know much about docbook and setting up tex (via CJK tex) is rather complicated, so what I suggest is to use openoffice to import docbook and convert to pdf; in general OOo has worked for me greatly, but I have not tried docbook importing myself. Hope that helps, Joseph H. Yao
