about Xchat and mutt

Hi:
  after some try, finally xchat's menu is chinese now,and i can see chinese 
in the chatting zone. But I cannot find"use gtk_fontset_load intead of 
gtk_font_load" option. and i got warning msg when start xchat

mutt show strange code(in rxvt)! not big5, not gb,
