Hi,

This is solved in an evil patchset. Unfortunately we freebsd guys
only knows how to fix this if the charset is big5. Could you download
a relatively new patchset like
http://bsdchat.com/~clive/dist/mutt15/zh-mutt-1.5.1-20020901.diff.gz
and add GB support ? I think it's in charset.c or so.

BTW, debian guys, are you using IRC client like irssi or BitchX ?
We also have patches for Chinese characters cursor movement/line
wrapping. Of course, GB support needs help ;) They're on
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/ports/chinese/bitchx/files/
and ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/ports/chinese/irssi/files/
