Please read /usr/share/doc/x-ttcidfont-conf/README.Debian
You need something like:
 FontPath "/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType"
Make sure you have installed the arphic fonts.
If still nothing happens, please do 'defoma-reconfigure'

Don't know if FAQ is updated for this.
