Hi Claire,

There were some discussions before. You can check https://wiki.debian.org/Hardware/Certification for details.

It depends on what's your intention.

1. Do you want to get an official Debian certified?
No, Debian doesn't have the kind service right now, because Debian is a pure community oriented OS project.
Although there were some discussions for this topic, but it doesn' have a real work out yet.

2. Do you want to get your HWs running fine with Debian?
Yes, you can hire engineers to contribute to those upstream projects directly such as Linux kernel, and test Debian by yourself to ensure your HWs working properly with Debian.
And even better to add your HWs under https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn.

3. Do you want to use Debian logo on your HWs?
Yes, you can use the community logo for free.

4. Do you want to get better involvement with Debian project?
Yes, you can hire some Debian developers directly, and consider to provide them the remote working environment if they are not in near.

Hi Debian team,

This is Claire from Quanta Cloud Technology, Taiwan.

I am in charge of server hardware certification.

Currently, we have capability of Windows, RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu cert, etc…

We would like to know if Debian can perform hardware certification as well.

If support, please advise the process and any document we can refer it.

Thanks.
