about generate new locale (FAQ 2.3)
Hi, all:
I hadn't use gb or big5 locales when I firstly installed woody. So
after system booting up, when I tried to use Chinese locales, it
would response that the C Libraries can't support this locales.
With root account, I use
$ dpkg-reconfigure locales
to genterate new locales.
I think it's better than the hints in Chinese FAQ 2.3 section which
has to edit the /etc/locale.gen file manually. :-)
