debian初級問題請教

hi all,
我剛裝上debian 2.2r4,有一個問題請教，在debian裡怎麼
讓系統啟動候自動運行一個程序，以前用redhat時候是在
/etc/rd.d/rc.local裡面加上就可以了，在debian裡沒有
找到這個目錄和文件。

順便再問一句，網上哪個debian的書籍好一些，供學習？
