If "whereis man" does not return a line include "/usr/bin/man", you're
in trouble. Make a symlink "ln -s /usr/lib/man-db/man /usr/bin/man" and
try again. Also check all the required packages are installed already:
"apt-cache show man-db". You also need the "manpages" package.
