yeah, it means you do not run xfs-xtt. ;-) the -default-song- is truetype font.
you need install xfonts-arphic-gbsn00l, and modity /etc/X11/XF86Config
Section "Files"
FontPath "unix/localhost:7100"
then run the xfs server.
You'd better read http://master.debian.org/~ygh/faq.ps first.

Good point. I thought it will start automatically after it was installed.
When I type command chinput& the following message comes up

Basic: Cannot open font -default-song-medium-r-normal--16-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0\n
Does it mean the font is not available?
