New Debian powerpc Packages

These powerpc packages were installed into the Debian hierarchy in the
last week:

----- !!! HIGH URGENCY PACKAGES !!! -----

at - Delayed job execution and batch processing
at 3.1.8-9 -> 3.1.8-10 into dists/potato/main/binary-powerpc/admin
at 3.1.8-9 -> 3.1.8-10 into dists/woody/main/binary-powerpc/admin
at (3.1.8-10) frozen unstable; urgency=high
  * Suidunregister /usr/bin (closes: Bug#59421).
  * Rewrote perm.c to correctly deal with single character pw_name and
    incomplete last lines in at.{allow,deny}. Thanks to
    Sotiris.Vassilopoulos@betatech.gr for pointing this out.
  * Included patch by Florian Zumbiehl <florz@gmx.de> adding some
    read-only variables to no_export.
  * SIGCHLD handler now correctly loops on a non-blocking waitpid.
    Hopefully this gets rid of zombies even on SMP systems
    (closes: Bug#60549).
  * Changed AC_FUNC_GETLOADAVG to AC_REPLACE_FUNCS(getloadavg) in
    configure.in since it introduces a spurious depencency on libelfg0
    whenever that package is installed on the build machine.
    (closes: Bug#61295).
  * configure.in: rewrote directory tests such that configure fails due to
    a missing SPOOLDIR only when --with-jobdir or --with-atspool doesn't
    specify an explicit path.

base-files - Debian base system miscellaneous files
base-files 2.1.19 -> 2.1.20 into dists/potato/main/binary-powerpc/base
base-files 2.1.18.0 -> 2.1.20 into dists/woody/main/binary-powerpc/base

  * Made /var/log mode 755 and root.root (Bug #35504).
  * Made /cdrom and /floppy mode 755 and root.root (Bug #25847).
  * Removed /dev/pts. It made the package impossible to upgrade when
    using devfs with Linux 2.4. libc6 is already supposed to deal
    with /dev/pts (Bug #61408).
  * postinst removes base.conffiles as well (otherwise, some files
    like /etc/motd or /root/.bash_profile may disappear).
    Thanks a lot to Mikko Oilinki for the report.
  * Slightly improved README.base.

  * Added dpkg-loadtemplate, a simple program that loads templates into the
    debconf database. This is *not* intended to be used by debian packages,
    but can be useful for debugging purposes and for pre-seeding the
    database before installing a package.
  * Moved all external manpages for perl programs into POD format.
  * Updated all pod docs to fix formatting problems.
  * debconf-tiny is no more. Instead, we now have debconf and debconf-doc.
    This makes debconf proper be nearly as small as debconf-tiny used to be
    and gets rid of the set of problems associated with debconf-tiny.
  * This huge and unmanageable changelog is 20k compressed. To make debconf
    a reasonable size, I am only including the last 5 changelog entries in
    debconf; the rest go in -doc.
  * Several modules are now Exporters, and I use that where possible to
    reduce code size.
  * Strip all pod docs out of modules in binary package. Ugly, but saves a
    great deal of space.
  * Killed off the gtk frontend. The code has been rotting, and it just
    needs to be rewritten.
  * Changed the AutoSelect fallbacks around, most frontends now fall back
    to Slang.
  * Text frontend no longer always prompts for a Enter press at the end of
    a run.
  * Moved some doc files into doc/ in the source package.

  * Tightended up regexp that pareses Template: lines, so spaces are not

  * This needs to be put into frozen so that Alpha has the correct
    syscall.ph constants (important bug #55794) and the copyright on the
    perl-policy is correct (important bug #60233)
  * Changed copyright on perl-policy.sgml from "the Debian Project" to
    "Software in the Public Interest". This is so the document is
    actually copyrighted by a legal entity. This closes: bug#60233.
  * Completely regenerated the *.ph files. There appears to be a clean
    separation these days of system specific stuff into the asm
    directories. The only question would be the stuff in the bits/
    directory since that seems to be autogenerated by the kernel.
    The only one that I know needs it is bits/syscall.ph. I've written a
    script to make sure it takes in all the syscalls as necessary.
    Note that this is a somewhat long job since h2ph only does a 90% job,
    so the generated .ph files take a bit of hand-editing. This closes:
    bug#55794.
  * Install the Perl Social Contract (Porting/Contract) into the doc
    directory of the perl-5\d+-doc package. This closes #51963.
  * Modified lib/ExtUtils/MM_Unix.pm so that if the environment variable
    NO_LD_RUN_PATH is set true, then MakeMaker won't use LD_RUN_PATH in
    the dynamic_lib method and therefore the .so won't have an rpath built
    into them.  This closes: bug#47116.

  * Added NAME sections to manual pages catalogs.3 and libpq.3.
    Closes: 60476 60479
  * Ensured that postmaster is saved for use by postgresql-dump, by
    linking postgres to it in debian/get_old_bins.inc
  * New scheme for easing future upgrades: prerm will save the database
    structure into the pg_dumpall directory. This will ensure that the
    dump is already done for the new version; it is done provided that
    $1 of the prerm command is not `failed-upgrade'. If this dump is found,
    the postinst of the new package (version 7.0 onwards) can do a pg_upgrade
    (provided that the versions are sufficiently compatible).
    Closes: bug#61645
  * For those occasions when an upgrade is not possible, the prerm will now
    save the necessary binaries ready for the next release to do a dump
    and reload. This and the above change should greatly improve the
	 upgrade path to release 7.
  * Fixed bug in pg_wrapper (linked to psql) so that command line options
    such as `-F:' no longer get passed through as `-F -F:'. Closes: bug#61216
  * Modified postgresql-startup which incorrectly associated the port to
    listen on with whether TCP/IP connections were enabled. The two
	 should be, and now are, independent.
  * postgresql-dump now correctly sets and exports PGDATESTYLE before
    starting the postmaster.
