  * Upload of all the changes in -10 to frozen as well as unstable, since
    the changelog for that version said:

      this fixed version has to be in potato. Also closes last important
      bugs."

    Closes: #55045, #55782, #55827, #57113 (3 important bugs)

  * IMPORTANT CHANGE: Changed the default port to 9673. The former default,
    8080, conflicted with proxy servers like squid, wwwoffle etc.
    (closes: #46015).
    ZServer now by default starts its HTTP server on port 9673, use
    http://localhost:9673 to access it. The FTP server is started on port
    8021, the control monitor on port 8099. To change this, refer to
    README.Debian.
    To the archive maintainer: This should solve many installation problems
    that were not recorded in the BTS. Upgrading from a previous release,
    the user will be warned!
  * Also reflected this in the documentation. Added a section "Differences to
    upstream" to README.Debian and mention the directory structure in
    /var/lib/zope (closes: #54917).
  * New upstream version, which is only a bug fix release. 2.1.3 fixes one
    grave bug, where the database was corrupted when the administrator tried
    to pack it (closes: grave #56164, closes: important #56271).
    The only changes in 2.1.3 are the following things, there is no new code
    nor new features:
    - A race condition in the logic for managing Zope database connections
      caused Zope to hang on very busy sites.
    - A bug in the packing code that caused records to be nreadable after:
        o someone did work in a version
        o Someone did an (unrelated) undo
        o  the version was committed
      and the database was packed to a time before the work was done in the
      version.
    - Fixed a bug that caused packing to raise an
      error in the following situation:
        o someone modifies and then deletes an object in a version.
        o they commit the version
        o the database is packed between the time the object is deleted and
          the time the version is committed.
    - Fixed a bug that caused Zope to sometimes hang instead of shutting
      down or restarting when accessed over a fast network.
    - It wasn't possible to use a ZClass instance as a method of a ZClass.

base-config 0.15 -> 0.16 into dists/woody/main/binary-powerpc/admin
base-config (0.16) frozen unstable; urgency=low
  * Release manager: this needs to go into frozen for the same reason
    boot-floppies releases still go into frozen -- some of the bugfixes below
    can prevent installation of Debian for people, and are thus critical bug
    fixes even though the bugs are not so marked. Others are critical
    usability fixes.
  * Call tasksel with new -r and -i flags, to mark all required and important
    packages for install automatically.
  * Prompt for full username with medium priority, not low. Closes: #56602
  * apt-setup changes:
    - First try just adding the "deb" entry. If that succeeds, try
      adding the "deb-src" entry also, but if that fails, keep the working
      "deb" entry. Closes: #53440, #56934
    - Remove tempfiles.
    - Removed "nfs server" from list since it confused people.
    - Instead of "manual entry", I now have "edit sources list by hand",
      which just runs an editor on sources.list and tests the result, since
      many people complained the earlier interface wasn't powerful enough.
    - Changed "aptconf" to "apt-setup" in template names.
    - Added support for non-us. This is pretty rudimentry for now; it always
      uses non-us.debian.org. Full support for chosing a non-us mirror will
      be added for woody. Closes: #53439
  * Clear the screen on exit and in several places inside apt-setup
    Closes: #56666
  * TODO list updates.

base-config 0.16 -> 0.17 into dists/woody/main/binary-powerpc/admin
base-config (0.17) frozen unstable; urgency=low
  * apt-setup: fixed a bug that made it always use the first Archive-$type in
    the mirrors file. That is /debian/, so I didn't notice it until now, but
    it made apt-setup not work on 75 mirrors.. Closes: #57763 (grave)
  * apt-setup now returns 1 if the user backs up past the first dialog, and
    config now detects this and goes back a step. Also, after running
    apt-setup, reset the title. Closes: #57536
  * Now supports http proxies. Closes: #56861, #56887

      - Add delays to be more friendly to the kernel's broken loop drivers
        during the build.
      - Update bootprep.sh for experimental kernel-patch packages, as
        there was no available kernel-patch anywhere.

debconf 0.2.80.1 -> 0.2.80.2 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.80.2) frozen; urgency=low
  * Installed workaround from Joel Klecker to fix the annoying termcap
    warning from Term::Readline. This does not close these bugs, but it does
    work around them: #47363, #50286, #50540, #51787, #52052, #53274,
    #55142, #56987, and #46270
  * Given the number of times people tend to report this bug, and how much
    it confuses them (people who mysteriously think the one line of warning
    means the entire install failed (see bug #56987), and so on), and since
    it is a 1 line workaround, I think this is a candidate for frozen.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.80.2 -> 0.2.80.3 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin

  * dpkg-reconfigure: detect perl confmodules properly, by making my regexp
    match case in-sensitively. This fixes a bug that made dpkg-reconfigure
    not work at all to reconfigure packages that used ConfModule.pm.
    Probably worth putting into frozen, especially as it is a 1 character
    (count 'em!) bugfix.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.80.3 -> 0.2.80.4 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.80.3 -> 0.2.80.4 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.80.4) frozen; urgency=low
  * Add templates file, config script, postinst, and posrtm to debconf-tiny,
    so debconf/priority actually exists. This is necessary so base-config
    can change the priority if the boot-floppies were installed in verbose or
    quiet mode. This is a critical bugfix, as it fixes a bug that made newly
    installed systems unusable.
  * Added dpkg-preconfigure to debconf-tiny, since this:
    a) lets debconf-tiny use debconf's postinst unchanged
    b) is useful in general to have in debconf-tiny
  * Several k of bloat. Oh well..

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.80.4 -> 0.2.80.5 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf 0.2.80.4 -> 0.2.80.5 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.2.80.5) frozen; urgency=low
  * Fixed dpkg-preconfigure to not use Getopt::Long, so it will work even on
    the base system it is now a part of.
  * As a workaround for the dialog lock problem (which seems to be a dialog
    bug), never use dialog for the text mode menus. Works around: #56518
    (grave), #57771 (important)

  * dpkg-reconfigure: detect perl confmodules properly, by making my regexp
    match case in-sensitively. This fixes a bug that made dpkg-reconfigure
    not work at all to reconfigure packages that used ConfModule.pm.
  * dpkg-reconfigure: assume all config scripts are confmodules, it would be
    pretty weird for one not to be, and this speeds things up a tiny bit.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf-tiny - Tiny subset of debconf for the base system
debconf-tiny 0.2.83 -> 0.2.84 into dists/woody/main/binary-all/admin

debconf (0.2.88) unstable; urgency=low
  * Add templates file, config script, postinst, and posrtm to debconf-tiny,
    so debconf/priority actually exists. This is necessary so base-config
    can change the priority if the boot-floppies were installed in verbose or
    quiet mode. This is a critical bugfix, as it fixes a bug that made newly
    installed systems unusable.
  * Added dpkg-preconfigure to debconf-tiny, since this:
    a) lets debconf-tiny use debconf's postinst unchanged
    b) is useful in general to have in debconf-tiny
  * Several k of bloat. Oh well..

  * Use perl's "base" module throughout the code, cutting 2 lines from each
    module. Due to a bug in the module, I had to throw lots of "use"'s back
    in, in the case of child modules that had a name that just appeneded to
    the name of their parent. I have filed a perlbug about that
    (ID 20000212.001). These additions are marked "# perlbug" so I can grep
    them back out later.
  * Warning: I expect this release is very buggy. But that's why you're
    tracking unstable, right?

  * Fixed 2 sprintf calls in launch_url that get untrusted text passed
    into them, and so could be used for exploits in theory.
  * Also fixed a quoting bug that let attackers run arbitrary commands by
    embedding them in URLs. (This is not entirely fixed, but you are safe if
    you use the suggested quoting in the slrn man page. It should really use
    exec..)
  * Luckily, there are 2 barriers for either of these security holes to be
    expolited: first, the user is presented with the url before the browser
    is launched (though an attacker could simply pad the front of the url with
    something innocuous and hope the victim didn't scroll all the way to the
    end of it). Second, you have to have non_Xbrowser or Xbrowser set in your
    .slrnrc, and they are not set by default. Still, this needs to go into
    frozen. Closes: #57616

  * Non-maintainer upload, blessed by the maintainer.
  * Fix porting issues by making xaw3d (the libc5-compat package)
    Architecture: i386 m68k, closes: #17184, #27133, #32244, #53515.
    [important]
  * Used xlib6-altdev tools, too (xmkmf), to make libc5 version depend
    on libc5 X libs (does anyone actually use this libc5-compat lib?!).
    [important]
  * Added Replaces: xaw3dg (<< 1.3-6.4) to xaw3dg-dev, because dpkg would
    barf when upgrading from versions of xaw3dg prior to that one, which
    still contained the static library. [important]
  * Updated for Policy 3.1. Converted to debhelper v2. Lintian clean.
  * Removed Conflicts: and Replaces: xaw3d from xaw3dg, as libc6 version
    does not replace functionality of libc5 version (theoretically that
    doesn't even work).
  * Did strip --strip-debug on the static library (through dh_strip),
    reducing it by more than a half in size.
  * Used upstream Imakefile/Makefile to install things (not for
    libc5-compat, though), actually the only modified variable is $(INCDIR).
    The difference is that three header files are removed - but those were
    most probably extra anyway; and one .c file added - but it seems to be
    on purpose.
  * Made the libc5-compat Imakefile build only the shared library, as we
    don't use the static one, to reduce build time.
  * Made `clean' rule work all the time.
  * Moved xaw3dg-dev to section devel and xaw3d to oldlibs.
  * Moved Suggests: nextawg to xaw3dg package.
  * Upgrade to new xaw-wrappers obsoletes xaw3d(g)'s xaw-wrappers files,
    removed them now. Added Suggests: xaw-wrappers to library packages.
  * Made -dev depend on the exact same version of library package.
    Made -dev package's doc directory a symlink to library package's dir.
  * Removed version from xlib6(g) dependency from the shlibs file... it
    changes constantly in xlib6(g) itself, and dpkg-shlibdeps uses the
    xlib6g's one anyway, so there's no point in using it.
  * Unconditionally fixed lib/Xaw3d/XawI18n.h, to remove need for setting
    -DDEBIAN through make cmdline flags.
  * Changed backup tempfile location in postinsts from /etc to /var/run.
  * Some s/3d/3D/ changes. Renamed debian.README to README.Debian.
    Clarified descriptions in control and in xaw3dg postinst.
