    the builder has installed.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.38 -> 0.1.39 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.39) unstable; urgency=low
  * Hm, I know I fixed this before, but the fix seems to have been lost:
    Fixed bug in the AutoSelect that was making it *always* try dialog
    first, even if something else was picked. (Closes: #46020)
  * Dialog has no --defaultno flag, which makes it unusable for debconf.
    Oh, so does gdialog. I have submitted a patch for dialog, but for now
    I have simply made debconf not accept dialog. If you don't have whiptail,
    you get text mode. I also made the --defaultno flag be passed first,
    which is how dialog will (eventually) support it. (Closes: #46047)
  * Dialog frontend no longer clears the screen when running. Makes it
    easier to get at debug messages. (Closes: #46048)
  * dpkg-reconfigure was trashing ownerships, fixed.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.39 -> 0.1.40 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.40) unstable; urgency=low
  * gdialog will soon support --defaultno, added versionsed conflicts
    with versions that don't, and support it again.
  * ConfModule::new() doesn't take a confmodule to start anymore, I broke
    that out into a separate function.
  * AutoSelect only starts up the script if it's actually passed once. TRhis
    should fix your problem, BenC.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.40 -> 0.1.42 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.42) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed a problem with Client::ConfModule.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.42 -> 0.1.43 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.43) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed the problems with the purge command, which were really package
    name guessing problems and some errors in the new purge code. BenC, it's
    ready for you.
  * Don't install frontend in /bin (Closes: #46149)
  * Fixed a problem with interpretation of the set command. The second
    parameter can have spaces in it.
  * Added data-dumper dependancy, since some perl's don't include it.
    (Closes: #46147)

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.43 -> 0.1.44 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.44) unstable; urgency=low
  * Added the metaget command. I did this mainly to let one get a list of
    the owners of a question, though it might have other uses later.
  * Substitutions now take effect on the choices field as well as the
    description field.
  * Put these two changes together and it's now possible to install several
    related packages (ispell dictionaries, say), and get a list of what
    dictionaries are available when the config scripts run, and only prompt
    the user once for which one they want. Added a section to the tutorial
    about this.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.44 -> 0.1.45 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.45) unstable; urgency=low
  * Modified the README to refer to the locations of docs in the installed
    .deb, rather than the tarball, now that most people are installing debs.
    Closes: #46302.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.45 -> 0.1.46 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.46) unstable; urgency=low
  * Yesterday's changes to the choices field broke all select lists -- fixed.
  * Added regression tests to TODO, it's clear I need them.

debconf - Debian configuration management system
debconf 0.1.46 -> 0.1.47 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin
debconf (0.1.47) unstable; urgency=low
  * Doh -- I need to update to use debhelper's debconf support! :-)
  * Gdialog only takes --defaultno options at the end. Dialog only takes
    than at the beginning. Whiptail takes them either place. Argh. I've
    changed to using the end for now, since I don't use dialog at all yet.
  * Disambiguated {owners} in Question.pm, Closes: #46347
  * Killed EXAMPLES out of the debian package.
  * Flipped ordering of short and long descriptions in notes and text in the
    dialog frontend; makes more sense this way.
  * dpkg-reconfigure aborts if you arn't root.

  * Enhanced debconf support -- the database is now cleaned up on package
    purge.
  * Broke all debconf support off into a dh_installdebconf script. This
    seems conceptually a little cleaner.

debhelper 2.0.54 -> 2.0.55 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (2.0.55) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fixed quoting problem in examples/rules.multi (Closes: #46254)

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 2.0.55 -> 2.0.56 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel
debhelper (2.0.56) unstable; urgency=low
  * Fiddlesticks. The neat make trick I was using in rules.multi2 failed if
    you try to build binary-indep and binary-arch targets in the same make
    run. Make tries to be too smart. Modified the file so it will work,
    though it's now uglier. Closes: 46287
  * examples/*: It's important that one -not- use a install-stamp target.
    Install should run every time binary-* calls it. Otherwise if a binary-*
    target is called twice by hand, you get duplicate entries in the
    maintainer script fragment files. Closes: #46313

debhelper - helper programs for debian/rules
debhelper 2.0.56 -> 2.0.57 into dists/potato/main/binary-all/devel

  * apply patch from Abhijit Dasgupta <abhijit@ans.net> that prevents access
    to device nodes during restore, closes: #29775
  * apply patch from Eirik Fuller <eirik@netcom.com> relating to dumpdates.
    In 0.4b4-13, I patched dump to only read dumpdates if the 'u' flag was
    specified. The goal was to avoid failing if dumpdates wasn't yet present
    during a level 0 dump. The problem is that incrementals *must* read the
    dumpdates file regardless of the state of the 'u' flag, or they end up all
    looking like full dumps. This new patch ignores the 'u' flag. Instead,
    it always skips reading dumpdates for a level 0 dump, and requires a valid
    dumpdates be read for an incremental. Closes: #38136, #33818
  * hard-code the --enable-dumpdates-patch stuff since the upstream configure
    gets it wrong, and we want the functionality.

  * Removed usr/lib/libxmms.so symlink from the package, one Lintian
    error down. usr/lib/xmms/Input/libmpg123.so causes Lintian error,
    but it appears to be a valid library, compiled with -fPIC -DPIC,
    linked just with gcc -shared...

  * Non-maintainer upload, approved by maintainer, who's offering it
    for adoption, anyway.
  * Redid the packaging using debhelper. Updated for Policy 3.x.
    Merged problems.txt in README.Debian (and uppercased that "D" :),
    removed debian/todo file (all items are done now).
  * Coded making the directory in src/util.c, removing the need for
    sh wrapper script, debian/zicq file. In the check whether the config
    file exists, I've added a function which does mkdir and chmod of the
    directory. Its exit status are ignored, but it will bomb out anyhow
    if there is an error.
  * Additionally changed src/util.c to make it use ~/.zicq/zicq* files,
    without the unneeded dot (i.e. ~/.zicq/.zicq*). Fixed some related
    code in there, to prevent segfaults I have been experiencing while
    debugging this.
  * Added a warning in postinst, for those who upgrade the package to
    know why their config files don't work as before anymore.
  * Fixed zicq.1 manual page.
  * Fixed top-level Makefile all: and clean: rules, added "-O2 -Wall"
    to $(CFLAGS) in src/Makefile.
