New Debian m68k Packages

These m68k packages were installed into the Debian hierarchy in the
last week:

----- Low Urgency Packages --------------

libbfd2.8.1-dev 2.8.1-2 into hamm/hamm/binary-m68k/devel
libbfd2.8.1 2.8.1-2 into hamm/hamm/binary-m68k/libs
binutils 2.7.0.9-3 -> 2.8.1-2 into hamm/hamm/binary-m68k/devel
binutils (2.8.1-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * common.sh (new): find package with highest version correctly

cbb 0.73-1 -> 0.73-2 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/misc
cbb (0.73-2) unstable; urgency=low
  * The libfiles for cbb are now installed under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/cbb
    instead of /usr/X11R6/lib (fixes bug #10735).
  * Fixed the IMG tags for the HTML version of the manual (fixes bug
    #10736). Reported the problem to upstream maintainer.
  * Added links to the text manual and html manual in /usr/doc/cbb.

courtney 1.3-2 -> 1.3-3 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/net
courtney (1.3-3) unstable; urgency=low

    instead of 'killall -9' (bug #10493).

dpkg-cross 0.2 -> 0.3 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/utils
dpkg-cross (0.3) unstable; urgency=low
  * On dpkg-cross -i, also ignore tar messages like "error exit delayed".
  * Fix typo ($dpkg_errs instead $tar_errs) in dpkg-cross.in
  * In dpkg-shlibdeps, change objdump call and method how to find needed
    libraries; the objdump in binutils-2.8 doesn't have the -k option (raw
    section contents) anymore, so use --private-headers instead and look
    for ELF NEEDED entries in the dynamic section. Also changed
    debian/README to reflect this change.
  * Add special handling for -m option (see README), to work around a bug
    in dpkg-buildpackage 1.4.0.17

kernel-package 3.32 -> 3.33 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/misc
kernel-package (3.33) unstable; urgency=low
  * No longer carries around an extra uncompressed kernel image, and does
    not anymore create /boot/psdatabase-X.X.XX. The psdatabase file does
    not seem to be required anymore.
  * Removed all references to psdatabase.

man-db 2.3.10-37 -> 2.3.10-39 into hamm/hamm/binary-m68k/doc
man-db (2.3.10-39) unstable; urgency=low
  * added debian version info to option -V
  * corrected a couple of italian messages that didn't work (Grazie Borto)
  * added nlsutils in Replaces: field of control file (fixes Bug#9943)
  * Ugly typo in debian/rules that made .dwww-index disappear from last
     version (-38): my fault! (sigh) (autoBug#10130)
  * dropped scan of current directory if explicitly present in PATH both
     as an empty entry or an explicit dot; this used to left index files
     here and there. (fixes Bug#10039, thanks to Giuliano Procida)
  * allowed non "man" dirs if in manpath.config
     (now accepts manpages hierarchies like /usr/share/ucbman)
     fixes Bug#9947, thanks to Richard Kettlewell.

manpages 1.15-5 -> 1.16-1 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc
manpages-dev 1.15-5 -> 1.16-1 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/doc

  *
  * Modified hier(7) and suffixes(7).
  * Added upstream announcement file.
  * Added md5 checksums.
  * Updated README.debian and removed item from TODO list.

octave-ci 97.03-1 -> 97.06-1 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/math
octave-ci (97.06-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * new upstream release

pkg-order 0.07 -> 0.08 into hamm/hamm/binary-all/misc
pkg-order (0.08) unstable; urgency=low
  * Deal with old style packages which have a separate version and
    revision field.
  * Field names are not case-sensitive according to programmer's 4.1, and
    now pkg-order is aware of that.
  * Arrk. Fixed patch above so that we still have cononical hyphenized
    field names!!
  * This fixes Bug#10380.
  * Made the result checks return rumber of errors, rather than 0 based
    index of last error (so 0 means there are 0 errors, used to be that no
    errors returned -1), this makes counting errors easier.
  * pkg-order now understands that unfound dependencies are really an
    error (a potentially critical one at that).
  * pkg-order now exits if there are no packages to order, rather than
    returning with cryptic error messages.
  * Added some rudimentary debugging facilities (as I needed them). These
    will be expanded in the future.
  * Record unknown dependencies, and delete them as needed.
  * Honour the warn directive when faced with failures.
  * Made conflict detection less rigid, and should now detect the type
    correctly (looser but more accurate).
  * Make better error checks while deciding on whether to let a package
    participate in the ordering.
  * Added a member function remove to the results package, used to remove
    invalid unfound errors, and for completeness.
  * Incorporated the examples that demonstrate the bugs to the test
    suite.
  * Updated the package ordering tests of the test suite to the new API.
  * The above hopefully fix BUG#10381 and Bug#10382, at least, they pass
    all the test in the suite, but that may not be saying much. I am
    worried about spurious errors in Conflicts, though the packages are
    still ordered. I have not been able to tickle that, though.
  * Modified debian/rules so that we configure the Makefile generation
    correct;y.

shellutils 1.16-2 -> 1.16-3 into hamm/hamm/binary-m68k/base
shellutils (1.16-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * For compatablity with qmail, usr /usr/sbin/sendmail, not
    /usr/lib/sendmail, to send mail.
  * Routine update of debian/rules:
    Run dpkg-gencontrol after debstd, and delete substvars during clean.

xfree86 (3.3-2) unstable; urgency=low
  * debian/control: make xfnt* depend: on xbase >= 3.3-1, so they get the
    right mkfontdir. Make xserver-vga16 also depend >= 3.3-1, instead of
    3.2-0, so it can work at config time [#10487], and xfnt75, since it
    specifically tries to use the 75dpi symbol fonts. [#10507] Update
    xlib6-dev to depend on xlib6 3.3-1 as well.
  * debian/control: confict/replace xterm-color.

  * debian/xbase-writeconfig: generate SecurityPolicy, and...
  * debian/xbase-dirs: create the directory for it, and...
  * debian/xbase-conffiles: make SecurityPolicy a conffile. [#10471]
  * programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/common/xf86Config.c (findConfigFile): look
    for /etc/X11/XF86Config, per debian style.
