After chatting with Andrés off-list (he is a long-time colleague of mine in several LUGs and laboratories in Mexico City), I cannot but endorse his suggestion. This change would only require adding a set of symlinks (one for each {suite,named_release,architecture}¹ to our images in the mirrors, and will most probably help discoverability and automation for our software. ¹ i.e. suite => {oldstable, stable, testing, unstable}; named_release => {sid,trixie,bookworm,bullseye,...}; architecture => {amd64,arm64,armel,armhf,riscv64,...} -Gunnar.
