Hello, I download Debian 6.0.5 CD-1 and install it whith Graphical
install mode, with Chinese locales selected, and without internet
connection. The installation was successful, but after rebooting to the
Gnome login screen there are small squares with numbers. I think these
should be Chinese characters without font available. At last I tried to
install ttf-unifont from console and I got a readable Chinese Gnome desktop.
So, please install ttf-unifont within the installer.



Package's Suggests field is empty.

thank you for filing this bug report. I'm sorry your report remained unanswered
at the time.

I'm closing it today, as Debian 6 is long unsupported. If the issue
still persists with Debian 9 or 10 installation media, please do reopen
the bug (or ask me to do so) or file a new one.
