Bug#877649: cdrom: Stuck when install any DE with apt
Package: cdrom
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
(I'm not sure if I am opening this report in the right area, sorry if I'm
wrong)
I'm using the net install debian stretch media.
Every time I install the system, then some Desktop Environment, the dpkg
process stuck with "dbus" I guess.
Steps to reproduce:
-Install the system with the minimal media
-Uncheck all the options (ssh server, desktop environment...)
-reboot the system, then apt install *desktop environment* (test with lxde)
The installation will always stuck (I've test this with many different
machines)
Workaround:
-After the process freeze, press "Ctrl, alt & del" to reboot the system again,
then use "dpkg --configure -a" to finish the process
(command "shutdown" won't work before I install an DE, not sure why)
