hi $ dd if=/dev/cdrom | \ > head -c `stat --format=%s debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso` | \ > md5sum i found this on your site. its not working on wheezy. 2. md5sum with Brasero seems to have an bug(?): the "ok" messsage comes up without any testing. this works: dd if=/dev/sr3 | md5sum debian-8.4.0-i386-xfce-CD-1.iso 78f4c635fa11f682643cd9056ebc9c99 debian-8.4.0-i386-xfce-CD-1.iso thanks Klaus
