Bug#773344: cdrom: Debian installer fails to load firmware-realtek

Package: cdrom
I am trying to install both debian-7.7.0-amd64-i386-netinst.iso and load the driver from usb thumb drive and from firmware-7.7.0-amd64-netinst.iso already containing the appropriate firmware for my wireless asus usb-n10 adapter which is firmware-realtek.
None of the two options is able to detect wireless network adapter.
I did try other live linux distros and i had success having the firmware automatically loaded before installation begins. I would expect nowdays to be able to load firmware for network quite easy without problems. Having the linux driver provided by the manufacturer loaded instead of debian packaged firmware would be great.
I have an intel DG965WH mobo.
