I think I saw that when I rolled my own images before Steve built them officially. I was too sure I didn't screw up things. Might be #676302. The call is probably wrapped through chroot, which explains why it mentions /var/lib/apt… even if it really worked with files under /target, hence the EEXIST. Mraw, KiBi.
