Package: cdrom debian-6.0.4-ia64-netinst.iso (sha 256 730a70094b5ba907307870209466b8dacd6a9675df635fd661edf34b66959304) failes to boot inside KVM on debian stable + backports host. Other systems like same debian but 386 version debian-6.0.4-i386-netinst.iso or for example RIPLinuX-13.7.iso - boot without any problem with same command line (just other ISO file). The errors seen in KVM BIOS is: Boot failed: Could not read from CDROM (code 000c) No bootable device. Host system information: kvm 1:0.12.5+dfsg-5+squeeze8 qemu 0.12.5+dfsg-3squeeze1 $ uname -a Linux fenix 3.2.0-0.bpo.2-amd64 #1 SMP Sun Mar 25 10:33:35 UTC 2012 x86_64 GNU/Linux
