The installation method with one CD and no mirror is not very often tested and it's very good news to see that it is working properly! I think this is indeed something that our recently passed friend Frans Pop (http://www.debian.org/News/2010/20100831), who worked with a great commitment with the Debian Installer and debian-cd teams....would have liked to see. So, very special thanks to you for that report. I'm particularly happy to see that the only action I have to do...is to close it..:-) (I suspect the hang problem you mention has probably nothing to do directly with the installer itself)
