The short version is that with loadlin, a copy of the vmlinuz & inittrd files from here:
http://www.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/main/installer-i386/current/images/hd-media/
and a relevant ISO image, say:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/release/4.0_r3/i386/bt-cd/debian-40r3-i386-netinst.iso.torrent

you should be able to use the Hard Disk install method, by pitting all the
files in the C:\ directory, making sure that the .iso file has a filename
that ends in .iso, and then running LOADLIN.EXE as per the instructions.
You should probably make sure that you have a DOS rescue floppy just
in case you get to the point where you've wiped out DOS, and find that
GRUB refuses to install, so that you can at least get back to where you
are by using FDISK.EXE etc.
Anyway, with the relevant files copied into place using DOS, you should
be able to run LOADLIN from DOS and then start the install.

perhaps you could report back on how you got on, and we can use your
experience to document this more fully -- if you make notes of the bits
that made this confusing as you go along that will help to suggest the
bits that need to be covered in more detail.
