Bug#327091: cdimage.debian.org: the BusyBox shell can't support mount of journaled file systems
Package: cdimage.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
the Debian GNU/Linux boot/rescue CD uses BusyBox shell for installation
base. it is not problematic on installation. but when I need rescue CD
I often use other distro's installation/rescue CDs, or other's LiveCD.
as the BusyBox did not support "-t journalfs", without them, can't mount
other partitions with journalfs.
I wish if the Debian Installation/Rescue support for me (and other res
cue-loving users) not to use fully-functional non-debian CDs.
some debian lovers also uses other distributions, others do not.
the latter want to use the default CD of their base system.
ok, this may because of the ramdisk, uses non-hard disk space when
booting.
