To: debiancd <debian-cd@lists.debian.org>
I'm unable to write to my CD-RW. Below is the output. I'm using:
1) kernel Linux 2.4.18
2) modules for the SCSI emulation
3) a Samsung SM-308 CD writer drive
4) a brand new Memorex CD-RW compact disc
4) both the CD drive and hard-drive on the same IDE controller (i.e., the
CD drive is /dev/hdb)
This is the first CD writer I've ever had with this machine. I can read
CDs (via mount) fine with this drive. I have read the CD Writing HOWTO.
(I've also tried the Samsung CD-RW that came with the drive
unsuccessfully.)
Thanks for any help.
