Re: Please test this woody cd image

Mail in two parts, one to Raphael, another to debian-boot:

This feature worked. I was able to start installation with 'bf24'
easily. This worked, BTW, where the Woody netinst CD images someone
circulated did not. They offered flavours through some kind of BIOS
image selection thingy that my system doesn't appear to support.

My installation failed.  System:

	ECS K7S5A mobo with SIS735 chipset

	Adaptec 2940UW with SCSI HD (target), SCSI CD-R
	Several IDE drives and an IDE DVD (source)

The installation system correctly noticed that I would be booting from
SCSI with IDE devices present, and warned me that it might not work. I
don't have a copy of the warning written down, unfortunately.

After completing installation, I rebooted and got

L 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 01 [....]

Rather than "LILO".

I rescued the installation with the cd by using the kernel 2.4 rescue
image (rescue24?) with option root=/dev/sda1 , then adding this line to
my lilo.conf:

disk = /dev/sda
	bios = 0x80

Also, through some difficult-to-reproduce sequence of actions, I was
able to finish installation without going through exim config. I think
I accidentally CTRL-C'ed it, so I'm willing to take the blame for that
one.
