Problems with tasksel on woody/sid cd install

Hi,
I'm building sid ia64 ISOs for testing, and have a problem with
tasksel. I install from one of these CDs and specify only the CD
as an apt source. When the installer tries to run tasksel, tasksel
just exits. The problem seems to be that there are no Task: tags in
my Package files. It appears that these tags come from an "extra
overrides" file, and are put there when apt-ftparchive creates a
Package file (provided you specify an extra override file in apt-conf).
As the debian-cd scripts use dpkg-scanpackages rather than apt-ftparchive,
I guess tasksel is not going to work on anyones woody or sid CDs.

Can anyone confirm my understanding of the problem?

Further, there must be an official 'extra overrides' file somewhere,
but I've failed to locate it. Any ideas?

Richard
