Kill that, and use a normal Packages.cd then, or name it something else,
whatever.

APT does not support that, if it does not work then too bad, I don't care.

cp Packages.cd Packages

No Problem (tm)

People who do that are more likely to copy the entire CD set to the hard
disk so they do in fact have a complete mirror, and should have normal
signed package files in the right place.
