gee whiz, I spend months (years?) using the Debian system and I only get
useful information if I get lucky.
Can someone explain why apt-get update will not make a new
/var/lib/dpkg/available?
It seems so, you know, useful.
As in something that everyone would use and enjoy.
I love apt.
I love Debian.
But this time I see a thing to fix.
