Re: New HURD images!

The HURD has grown to the point where two CDs are required. So the discs
have been rationalised.

Disc 1 (main). This has been checked for dependecies and should be quite
consistent. The exception is that the packages from alpha.gnu.org have
been included regardless. apt is included on this CD. A trivial script
has been included to upgrade libc0 and perl as the last stage of the
initial setup.

Disc 2 (extra). This has what was left over from disc 1 and uses the
compact image for booting. There will be wanted packages on this second
CD.

All packages are in the ../main/binary-hurd-1386 file system and three
other directories have been added to this tree, non-free, non-US and pool.
This ensures that dselect behaves itself.

The transition to pool system is causing problems as the ".all" packages
all want to get onto the second disc. A good percentage of the foriegners
have been identified and added to the exclude list, but there are probably
still about 100 Mb of unusable packages on the second CD in the pool
directory.

The initial run of dselect goes well. I have since discovered that if the
tetex packages are deselected before the first dselect run is made, then
this run is then faultless.
