Hmm, maybe I did not express myself clearly enough, but I am not
claiming that pdksh_5.2.14-1.deb in the mirrors is corrupt. The
problem is with pdksh_5.2.14-1.deb that is in the CD ISO image
binary-i386-2.iso.

If you have made CDs from the CD images and install pdksh from 
there, does it still work?
