Yeah, we'll get there in the end --- it doesn't help that the new
memory I put in open seems to be flaky, and the machine died last
night when I was doing another attempt with that raised to:

  BOOT_SIZE_1=40

Hopefully, I'll be able to replace the RAM in the next day or two.
