That's not true ... perl-5.005 is the STANDARD perl for potato. And it
does work, perl-5.005 provides perl5, so the dependency is satisfied.
I'm concerned by the number of people who seem to have problem with this
upgrade. debconf depends on perl-5.005, I hoped that it would he enough to
pull perl-5.005 automatically on most cases ... the arch dependant perl
modules should also depend on perl-5.005.

Debian-cd is for discussing the development of debian-cd. :) Usually
the upgrade problems are discussed in debian-devel ...
