i think a dvd would be great. but you cna only boot one architecture
automaticaly. so you would either need one dvd per architecture or 
boot all non-i386 architectures via bootdisk or so. that´s not good.

price (if you do 5000 cd sets/dvd):
0.71 dm for a cd, 2.66 dm for a dvd-5, 3.73 dm for a dvd-9

so, at that volume a dvd is cheaper. and i didn´t even consider jewelbox, 
tray, label, ... glas master is included in that price.

hmm. 20000 people expected to be at linuxtag 2000...
