The server::dir notation is used only for the `rsync' protocol, and has
(basically) nothing to do with the FTP service on that computer. If that
confuses you, it's a good idea to read the README document inside the
Pseudo-Image Kit, available from
http://panic.et.tudelft.nl/~costar/pseudo-image-kit
