Re: non-i386 images?

Running make correctstatus lots of times wasn't helping. There are 2
versions of lsof in the main/binary-i386/utils section.

Just did the following for slink i386:

Removed the older lsof from the mirror

Gunzipped the Packages.gz edited out the older lsof and gzipped it.

. conf.sh
make distclean
make correctstatus
make correctstatus

It only needed 2 passes. I know that I could also regen Packages.gz with
the dpkg tools but it was easy to just edit it for test purposes. So it
looks like a little manual adjustment to the mirror might solve the
problem for other architectures.

I do wonder why the archives are in such a state. 2.1.r3 has been released
for several weeks now.

I don't know what can be added to yacs, but I am going to switch to a
method where I first build a hardlink copy of the mirror, make
adjustments, regen all Packages.gz files and then have yacs build from the
adjusted copy. This will prevent my daily mirror update from replacing
files like the extra lsof and modified Packages.gz and wasting bandwidth.
