You'll find more information in the README and README.devel file in
the .tar.gz archive.
And if I set a size limit of 600 Mb (aka 600 * 1024 * 1024 b) I
end up with 3 CDs containing each :
/rack/tmp/potato-i386@p200$ wc -l *.packages
1247 1.packages
1792 2.packages
183 3.packages
3222 total
And this is without non-free and without contrib but with non-us. And the
size-limit is high (600 may be to much for the first CD with all the files
too add).

something functionnal to show ... :)
