Package: src:kfreebsd-10
Version: 10.3~svn296998-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

When compiled with GCC (rather than upstream default compiler Clang),
WITH_SSP (Stack Smashing Protection), kfreebsd-10 panics on boot.

The panic is in taskqueue_start_threads, just before it would start
zfskern I think.

WITHOUT_SSP it boots fine. SSP has always been problematic when Debian
built kfreebsd with recent versions of GCC, and it has been disabled for
past releases. This bug will be kept open though for any followup on
what causes this; but we'd like to turn this feature back on someday.
