True, works after reboot,didnt notice kernel switch due to 10.0.1 being installed and 10.1 being the new :)

It's kind of expected to not work if kernel and userland don't match --
pf seems to be quite tightly coupled.
Does pfctl work again for you after booting into the 10.1 kernel?
