You can get 3D with either kfreebsd-10 or kfreebsd-11 if you manually load
drm2 and then i915kms.
However, on kfreebsd-10 this will cause the screen to go black. The fix is
using Newcons (currently in kfreebsd-11). We can't enable KMS automatically
until Newcons is in kfreebsd-10 too.
In order to backport Newcons we need more people to test it.
