This problem appears to be fixed when using freebsd-net-tools 10.0-2 or later
(but NOT 10.0-1, whose ifconfig is badly broken!).

Please can you confirm this works for you, too? In the meantime I'll update the
dependency in kfreebsd-11, but it'd still be useful if you can confirm the problem
is fixed.

IMPORTANT: when checking if the problem is fixed, be aware that it might not be
reproducible with all cards. I've consistently reproduced success when using
freebsd-net-tools 10.0-2 / kfreebsd-11 on a computer with "msk" driver, and failure
when using freebsd-net-tools 9.2 on the same card. However my "vtnet" card
(VirtualBox) seems unaffected.

Thanks!
