How reliable is that? Last time I asked, they didn't know if it'd be
ready before June...

Then again, a snapshot or RC could also be an option.

This shouldn't be a concern for us, as we'll need to carry on with 8.1
security until wheezy+1 is released.

This requires uploading to unstable (and allowing migration to
testing).  Before doing that we need to figure out what to do about
the ABI number: Right now we make no promise about ABI, but that's
fine since it's experimental only.

Agreed, it shouldn't be considered a blocker for 8.2->8.3 upgrade IMHO.
